The Board of Surf Life Saving fulfills the core responsibility of Maroochydore SLSC in providing volunteer Surf Patrols.
Focused on delivering the safest possible flagged patrol area, our service area covers Seabreeze Caravan Park to the Maroochy Rivermouth and Pincushion Island. Regular surveillance patrols using IRB and ATV equipment are used to monitor situations outside the flagged area.
Board Members are responsible for activities that deliver the personnel, resources and expertise required of a community rescue organisation.
Patrol Groups are headed by Patrol Captains who organise and coordinate personnel with a range of awards and skills developed within Surf Lifesaving, targeted at protecting and serving the public in our aquatic and beach environment.
