Maroochy Surf Club Gaming Room Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility

·        Membership in the Maroochy Surf Club Gaming Room Loyalty Program (“Surfside Rewards”) is open to all patrons aged 18 years and over who have a valid membership card issued by Maroochy Surf Club.

·        By enrolling in the Program, members agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Earning Points

·        Members earn points by playing gaming machines or winning at our kiosk within the club premises.

·        Points are accumulated on the member’s account linked to their membership card.

·        Points can only be earned by the member to whom the card is issued. The sharing or transferring of points between members is strictly prohibited.

3. Redeeming Points

·        Points can be redeemed for cash in multiples of $5. The minimum redemption amount is $5.

·        Alternatively, points can be used to purchase food and beverages at the bar within the club.

·        Points have no cash value until they are redeemed, and are non-transferable.

4. Membership Card

·        Members receive discounts on food and beverages by swiping their membership card at the point of purchase. The discount is determined by the member’s loyalty level.

·        The membership card must be presented at the time of play or purchase to earn points, redeem points, and receive discounts.

·        The card remains the property of Maroochy Surf Club and must be returned upon request.

·        Members are responsible for safeguarding their membership card. Maroochy Surf Club is not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged cards.

5. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Cards

·        Members must report a lost, stolen, or damaged card to Maroochy Surf Club immediately.

·        A replacement card can be issued at the discretion of the club. However, any points lost due to the loss or theft of a card will not be refunded.

·        Members must provide valid identification when requesting a replacement card.

6. Keeping Your Details Updated

·        It is the member’s responsibility to ensure that their contact details, including name, address, and phone number, are kept up to date.

·        Any changes to personal details must be reported to Maroochy Surf Club promptly.

·        The club is not responsible for any consequences arising from the member’s failure to update their details.

7. Expiration and Inactivity

·        Points must be redeemed within 12 months from the date they are earned. Points not redeemed within this period will automatically expire.

·        If a member’s account remains inactive (no points earned or redeemed) for a period of 12 months, the account may be closed, and any remaining points forfeited.

8. Program Changes and Termination

·        Maroochy Surf Club reserves the right to modify or terminate the Program at any time without prior notice.

·        Any changes to the Program, including these Terms and Conditions, will be communicated to members through the club’s official channels.

·        Members will have no claim for compensation or damages in the event of any changes or termination of the Program.

9. General Conditions

·        Participation in the Program is subject to all relevant laws and regulations.

·        Maroochy Surf Club reserves the right to disqualify any member who breaches these Terms and Conditions or engages in any fraudulent or unlawful activity.

·        These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws and regulations of the Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation (OLGR) in the state of Queensland.
